At the forefront of automotive innovation and luxury, Swarovski Mobility proudly partners with AUMOVIO to unveil the Emotional Cockpit—a groundbreaking interior display concept premiering at the 2025 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. This visionary collaboration merges cutting-edge display technology with Swarovski’s signature crystal craftsmanship, delivering an unparalleled sensory experience.

The Emotional Cockpit emphasizes not just functionality, but sensory connection. Intelligently integrated into the dashboard are two crystal-framed displays, cut with precision and designed to elevate both aesthetics and user interaction. These luxurious elements transform the cockpit into a stage for innovation, reflecting Swarovski Mobility’s commitment to redefining how technology and material design can coexist in harmony.

A central highlight is the floating crystal control element—the primary interface between driver, passenger, and vehicle. Suspended above the dashboard, this touchpoint provides intuitive access to key functions, reinforcing the cockpit’s sense of lightness and clarity. Behind its surface, a 12.3-inch TFT display equipped with full-array local dimming ensures sharp contrast, deep blacks, and vivid brightness, optimized for in-vehicle use.

On the passenger side, the Widget Crystal offers real-time updates via micro LED display technology, housed beneath a finely faceted crystal surface. At just 3.5 inches, this compact interface delivers essential information like weather, location, or charging status—making the experience more connected and visually expressive.

Adding emotional depth to the technical innovation is Swarovski Mobility’s unique “Aurora Borealis” coating. Applied to the crystal surfaces, this special-effect finish creates a subtle, shimmering color gradient reminiscent of the northern lights. The effect brings the displays to life with dynamic visual energy, reinforcing the Emotional Cockpit’s aim to engage sight, touch, and emotion.
