On May 26, Swarovski Mobility officially opened its new showroom, marking a significant step in the brand’s expansion within the premium automotive sector. Strategically located at the entrance of the Campus C311 in Wattens, just a few steps from the Manufaktur, the showroom is designed to offer automotive customers, designers, and brand representatives a comprehensive Swarovski experience.
Developed in close collaboration with Swarovski’s construction department, the showroom reflects the essence of Swarovski Mobility’s DNA—where technical expertise meets design innovation. The space showcases the diverse applications of crystal in automotive design, including ambient lighting, control elements, interior trim, and exterior lighting and decorative features. Each installation demonstrates how crystal can elevate both the aesthetics and functionality of modern vehicles.
The showroom is more than a display area—it is a collaborative environment that fosters creativity and dialogue between Swarovski Mobility and its partners in the automotive industry. It serves as a platform for exploring new ideas, discussing design possibilities, and experiencing firsthand how crystal components can be seamlessly integrated into vehicle architecture.
To celebrate the opening, Swarovski Mobility hosted an Open House for all employees in Wattens. The event was met with great enthusiasm, offering colleagues an exclusive first look at the showroom and its innovative displays. A highlight of the day was the BMW 7 Series parked in front of the Campus, which featured a wide range of crystal integrations developed in collaboration with BMW. The vehicle is a real-life example of how Swarovski’s crystal solutions enhance the luxury and sophistication of automotive interiors and exteriors.
The showroom is tailored to support customer visits, design presentations, and cross-functional collaboration. It is intended to inspire automotive designers and brand representatives by providing a tangible experience of Swarovski Mobility’s capabilities. From concept development to serial production, the showroom illustrates how crystal can be used to create distinctive, premium design elements that align with the evolving expectations of the mobility sector.
